Long-time lurker in the gaining community finally coming out from the shadows. I needed a place to post my weight-gain related fiction that would be separate from my offline life and my other internet presences, so I brushed the dust off my old DA account to post it here.
You can find me on Grommr as OwenW. You can also find me on Tumblr at wgswell.tumblr.com, where you'll see my musings on writing, other folks' art that I admire, reblogs about weight gain and/or writing, and my answers to people's questions. My profile picture is part of a portrait of me (wearing my favorite shirt) drawn by the wonderful Xenobody. My avatar was done by the wonderful FutoBara for his FutoBeans page.
While I do appreciate all the folks who've asked for my permission before writing fanfic or drawing fan art of one of my stories, know that you are ALWAYS welcome to make a piece of work inspired by or based on one of my works without having to ask first. All I ask is that you credit me in the description.
Please note that I DO encourage my readers to point out typos in my stories. I try to catch as many as I can while proofreading and editing, but inevitably, some will slip through. This is certainly not the case for all authors, so don't interpret this as me giving you permission to go out being the grammar police all over DA, but you're welcome to do so on my stories. If you've caught several typos, though, I would appreciate you letting me know in a note rather than as a comment.
I... admit I only found about about your passing now, even tho it had been almost a year. Rest in pease.
Rest in peace, you will be missed by so many.
Requiesca in Pace, Owen.
I'm so saddened to hear you're gone. You gave so much and you were taken so young. You were a good friend and a generous mentor. Rest in peace.
What happened?!
Just want to express my gratitude for your work. My friend dccmxn was kind enough to share your story, "A Pretty Good Deal" with me.
I was touched by your eloquent and caring writing style around content that is rarely graced with such positivity and practiced skill as yours. You are a master of your craft.
It is refreshing to see the "normalization" and acceptance of kinks demonstrated so gracefully. Your ability to portray the beauty in these interests, wrapped in loving and uplifting stories, is a gift to the community and the world.
Each piece feels like a hug. Seriously.
Thank you for sharing your writing. <3
Cheers.
This comment feels like a hug. Thank you so much for your wonderful words. I'm so happy that my work means so much to you.
